Junior Fund Manager, reporting to Senior Fund Managers (SFM), will be responsible for supporting the SFMs in all types of funds that are managed by Nurol Portföy. It is a unique opportunity to gain experience in all types of funds and become a senior fund manager rather quickly in a friendly work environment.
Responsibilities
Allocate short term funds of especially in fixed income and money market funds to repos and deposits based on their net cash flow position and the market rate quotations,
Execute some trade orders prepared by the SFMs,
Analyze market research reports, attend investor meetings,
Support the SFMs in improvement of fund performances,
Qualifications
Level 3 and Derivatives licences are a must.
CFA Designation or at least enrollment to the CFA Program is preferable.
Good command of Excel. Financial programming tools such as MathLab, Python is preferable.
Graduate degree from a reputable university in Turkey.
At least 2-3 years experience in a similar position in asset management companies,
Being a CFA Charterholder or a candidate will be considered as a strong asset.
Senior Fund Manager, reporting to the CEO, will be responsible for managing all types of funds, especially fixed income ones.
Responsibilities
Manage Fixed Income Funds, Multi-Asset Funds, Global Funds and Hedge Funds,
Generate strategic investment strategies in multiple asset classes,
Attend investor meetings,
Track portfolio constraints in order to maintain compliance with legal framework and regulations.
Qualifications
University Degree in Economics, Business, Finance or Engineering, MSc. Finance Degree will always be a plus,
Minimum 8 years of asset management experience,
CMB Level 3 and Derivatives Instrument Licenses are a must. CFA Designation or at least enrollment to the CFA Program is preferable.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, Thomson Reuters Eikon, Bloomberg,
Experience in global/local equity, fixed income, derivatives and money markets,
Team player with strong analytical and quantitative skills and a motivation to take responsibility,
Male candidates should have no military obligations,
Being a CFA Charterholder or a candidate will be considered as a strong asset.
